I have only visited two Central American Countries Mexico and Beleize, several videos are available on You-tube. I look a trip from Orange Walk to Lamani, 27 kilometers down New river, Aracaras, Roadside Hawk, Snail Kite, Belted and Green Kingfisher were among the highlights.
My favourite place in Mexico is Rio Lagartos. Birds included Boat-billed Heron, Great Blue Heron, Little Blue Heron. Snowy Egret, Green Heron, Black-crowned Night-Heron, Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Bare-throated Tiger-Heron, Reddish Egret, Great Egret, Tricolored Heron, White Ibis, American avocet, Willet, Greater Flamingo,Neotropic Cormorant, Brown and White Pelicans. Wood Stork, Limpkin, Rosette Spoonbill,Crested Caracara, Osprey, Turkey Vulture, Black Vulture, Aplomado Falcon, Collared Forest-Falcon, Bat Falcon. These are only some of the birds that I saw in about three hours on a boat in the lagoon and around the village.

Good birding
Keith
